During
the early morning hours of Thursday, September 16, 2004, Hurricane Ivan devastated the northern coast region of the Gulf of
Mexico. Hardest hit were the Alabama coast and Florida panhandle. Many inland communities where also destroyed.
Covey
Communications Corp. (publishers of Condo Owner, Coastal Design, ConventionSouth, & Sports Events magazines as
well as several other high-quality, nationally distributed publications) documented the devastation, tears and initial
recovery efforts with more than 600 high-definition, digitial images.
Hundreds of these dramatic photos have been
reproduced in a high-quality, limited-edition magazine. IVAN MAGAZINE: Devastation, Tears and Recovery on The Gulf Coast
includes 76 pages of dramatic pictures, all in brilliant four-color. The magazine, including its spectacular film-laminated
cover, is a reminder of what happened for generations to come.
The photos were taken from the ground and air, documenting
the destruction of the area and the fear, sorrow and determination of residents and property owners. Photos are included from
Dauphin Island, Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach in Alabama; Perdido Key, Pensacola and the Emerald Coast of Florida.
Also included are pictures from many inland communities such as Atmore and Evergreen, Alabama, and Milton, Florida.
Covey Communications Corp. has been producing high-quality, nationally distributed magazines for 24 years. We will
